What you'll own
You will own the content engine across three Instagram accounts: the Ecom Edge brand page, Nishkarsh's personal page, and Ishan's personal page. You will report directly to the founders and build content strategies that grow our audience, attract the right aspiring entrepreneurs, and ultimately convert followers into students. You need to deeply understand the e-commerce and dropshipping world (how Shopify stores work, how Meta Ads drive sales, what our students are trying to achieve) and turn that into content that resonates, educates, and sells.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage three separate Instagram content calendars (Ecom Edge brand page, Nishkarsh's personal page, Ishan's personal page) with distinct tones, angles, and audiences for each.
- Develop content pillars and messaging frameworks rooted in the e-commerce and dropshipping journey: product selection, Meta Ads, running a Shopify store, student wins, and entrepreneurship mindset.
- Write scripts and creative briefs for Reels, for the brand page and for Nishkarsh and Ishan individually, that grow followers and drive course enquiries.
- Collaborate with video editors and designers to ensure scripts translate into high-performing Reels and carousels across all three accounts.
- Stay deeply plugged into the e-commerce and dropshipping space (trending products, Meta Ads updates, platform shifts) and translate that knowledge into timely, relevant content.
- Own the content-to-conversion feedback loop. Track which content drives course applications and enrolments, not just views and saves.
What we're looking for
- —2 to 5 years of experience in content strategy or social media management, ideally in e-commerce, education, or the creator economy.
- —Strong written communication in English and Hindi/Hinglish.
- —Experience writing for video-first formats like Reels, Shorts, and ad scripts.
- —Proven ability to build and manage content calendars across multiple accounts or channels.
- —Can read a Meta Ads dashboard and translate ROAS/CPP data into content decisions.
- —Experience with AI-assisted content tools.
- —Understands or is genuinely curious about how dropshipping and online stores work, and knows what a Shopify store, Meta Ads funnel, and COD-based e-commerce business looks like in practice.
- —Has grown or managed a personal brand or creator account on Instagram, and understands how personal brand content differs from business brand content.
